In the first of our “Focus” events for 2024 we are delighted to feature one of Scotland’s best loved artists, John Lowrie Morrison or JOLOMO as he is also known. John is internationally famous for his powerful and vibrant landscapes of the west coast of Scotland and the Hebridean Islands.
His work is collected by celebrities such as Sting and Madonna, and he was listed as the The Sunday Times as number 10 in their list of Scotland’s greatest ever artists.
John donates a percentage of his sales to charity and in 2011 he received an OBE for services to the arts and charity in Scotland. He has held multiple sell out exhibitions here in Harrogate and we are delighted to be showing his colourful and powerful paintings, which are always in high demand.
