Watermark Gallery is pleased to be working with Printmaker Jane Walker

A series of limited edition linocuts are now available on the site, featuring ordinary objects such as crockery, fruit and flowers, in a beautiful combination of colour and composition.

Printmaker, Jane Walker uses the reduction linocut technique to produce these handmade, limited edition prints. Each print is made from a single block and through each stage of cutting, inking and printing, the image is revealed as the actual block is destroyed. A reduction linocut print can never be reprinted and therefore editions tend to be small and highly sought after.

Watermark Gallery is offering two sizes of linocut by Jane, priced at £225 (small) and £345 (large format), including mounting and framing. View the full range available for sale here.

A selection of Jane Walker’s prints are currently on display in the restaurant at Weeton’s cafe, 23/24 West Park, Harrogate. The exhibition is the first pop-up exhibition for Watermark Gallery in its home county. General Manager of Weeton’s, Keren Shaw, said, “We are delighted to be working with Watermark Gallery on their first exhibition in the area. Weeton’s has been supporting artists for some time now. It’s great to see such creative talent, which our customers really do seem to appreciate.” All artworks on display in Weeton’s are available to buy online at Watermark Gallery.
