Janine Jacques says the following about this piece:
‘We walked from Malham village to Malham Cove through the meadow land that is the setting for Malham Cove. The soft sound of the stream gently trickled alongside us, creating a soothing backdrop as Malham Cove came into view.
Once at Malham Cove, we climbed the steps to the top, where we saw this stunning view of the countryside and distant fields. Take a breath here to admire the view and catch your breath after the climb. It’s also the perfect spot for a picnic, allowing you to linger and enjoy the view for longer.
From the top of Malham Cove, we ventured across the huge cracked stones and descended to Janet’s Foss waterfall. After a little paddle to cool down and another rest we walked back to the village for tea and cake. It’s a lovely family day out with the kids.’
